SARS have recently released a communication detailing Admin Penalties being issued to several Non-Provisional Taxpayers on their 2022 Personal Income Tax Return.

Here’s the official notice:

Dear Valued Stakeholder

The South African Revenue Service (SARS) is aware of Admin Penalties being issued to a few Non Provisional Taxpayers relating to the 2022 Personal Income Tax Return.

We are in the process of reversing these penalties.

Taxpayers will be informed in writing once the reversal is processed.

We apologise for the inconvenience.
